The yard
Baleyard Vintage is a sourcing operation. We buy vintage clothing in bulk — sealed bales from wholesale suppliers across Europe — then cut them open, sort them on the floor and throw most of it back.
What is left gets graded, cleaned, measured and listed individually. No reprints, no bulk basics, no two pieces the same. If it would not go in our own wardrobe, it does not go on the site.

How it works

Sourcing
Bales bought by the kilo from European wholesalers, plus charity-shop and recycler runs.
- 02
Grading
Every piece checked for holes, fading, pilling and repairs. Most of the bale gets rejected.
- 03
Curating
What survives is washed, measured and photographed as it actually looks.
- 04
Selling
Listed as single stock. One of each, no restocks, no reprints.
